I went to a planning committee meeting tonight for a festival. I was appointed entertainment chairman last meeting. This meeting I gave them a proposal with several kinds of music. I thought I had a good variety in the selections I made. When I mentioned that I would like to close with a local Christian band, a lady that wasn't at the last meeting said that we couldn't promote Christianity at the event.

I blew a gasket!!!!! I told her that that was bull and my attorney would be contacting her. The other committee members had to calm me down as I was picking up my things to leave.

Christians have freedom of speech in any public arena. Most people don't have a clue what separation of church and state was originally designed to do. It's suppose to keep the government from forcing a religion on you. Like the Church of England is suppose to be the religious belief for the whole country.

Nonsense! I know my rights. A privately owned mall can censor what I say or do but, not a public area.

I've never done anything like that before. I was hot!!
