Things are moving right along. Working on entertainment for two different town events.

Nick Riley is learning how to run the equipment at the radio station to relieve Dan and I more. His show will air 9 PM central time every night.

My son, Jon spent the night and announced that he has applied for a job with Universal Studios California and Warner Bros. in New York. Both a long way from Kansas. The job in New York would be

an editor for Entertainment Weekly. (I told him 2 years ago to apply with them)

Note to parents: Make suggestion to your kids and wait for them to make their own decisions.
Sometimes they remember what you told them and take your advice.

He seems to be positive about getting on with his life. Emporia, Kansas is just too small to hold his dreams. El Dorado, Kansas is too small for me but I'm 20 minutes from Wichita.

At this point in my life, Los Angeles and New York are not where I want to be.
