Well, employers don't always work on the same time table as those waiting to be employed. Some how they don't realize that you still need to pay bills and go on with your life while you are waiting for an answer from them. In Jon's case, he's waiting to decide on what apt. to get or whether to sleep on the futon a couple more weeks at my house. We are very cramped at the moment!!

So, Tuesday came and Jon got a phone call from his perspective employer. He tried several times to return the phone call and kept getting voice mail. Which is way better than going through a receptionist, I think. However, I have always said to make friends with the receptionist, they can be helpful if they want to be.

Finally he gets a call back saying that they want him for the job in Wichita but he will have to go to North Carolina for 10 days for training. Bummer... but Jon is going to make the best of it. He will be reimbursed for air fare and paid for training. He will try to make a good impression on the corporate people while in their territory.

We are waiting on a Fed-Ex package with all the details.
