After reading Leslie Turvey's blog, I'm feeling like someone who has nothing to say. Quite the contrary, I have a lot to say. I just find it hard to put those deep thoughts in writing sometimes. I was considered a non-conformist at the age of 11. The older I get, the more I realize how much I'm not like other people. I don't follow the crowd. I never like the most popular TV show or the movie that got an academy award. I really am way different than  the average person. I don't display my non-conformity by getting tattoos and piercings. I, however, don't wear blue jeans like most of the world. When the "Prayer of Jabez" came out, I thought, "what a selfish prayer." Jesus taught us how to pray so why is some man making millions off of his idea of how we should pray? I learned something from the book of JOB. When I pray for my friends, my blessings begin to flow. I haven't read a single one of the "Left Behind" books. Why would someone make up all that garbage about something that is clear in the Bible?? There is NO SECRET RAPTURE. When we go, everyone will see Jesus returning! Why is everyone so upset over the 10 Commandments being moved from the courthouse? No one keeps them. Why are Americans upset about removing "under God" from the pledge of alligiance?? Why are we pleding alligiance to a flag? Is that not like an idol??
