The flood waters are receding! We were able to get to our neighborhood through another close neighborhood instead of going through the other side of town and looping around!

We got more of Jon's things moved to his apartment and he's spending the night so he can get to work in the morning.

We spent today looking for escape routes, wet vacuuming the carpet in the basement and the carpet in Jon's car. We found a back way to get out of our neighborhood that took 20 minutes!!

Tomorrow I'm helping with a Motown concert in Wichita. Think I will take a shower and head to bed. Got to go by the college in the morning and pick up some DVD's from a concert before I head to the airport to pick up Martha and the Vandella's (Dancing in the Streets) and the Contours ( Do You Love Me Now that I can Dance?)
